Aggravated Unlicensed Operations
Nancy Cohen, 49, of Southampton, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree on Sunday, July 5 at approximately 11:16 a.m.
Petit Larceny
Julia Kirby, 27, of New York City, was arrested and charged with petit larceny on Friday, July 3 at approximately 4:13 a.m. According to reports, police observed Kirby rip down a large Betsy Ross American flag off the porch of the 1708 House on Main Street. In addition, she was charged with consuming an alcoholic beverage in public. She was held for morning arraignment.
Marcos Chavez, 49, of Southampton, was arrested and charged with petit larceny on Friday, July 3 at approximately 11:55 a.m. According to reports, Chavez allegedly left the Southampton Thrift Store with a pair of shoes without paying for them. He was processed and released on $250 bail.
Trespassing
Matthew McKenna, 35, of Bardonia, was arrested and charged with trespassing and resisting arrest on Saturday, July 4 at approximately 7:56 p.m. According to reports, police responded to a disturbance at the Southampton Hospital involving an intoxicated subject who would not leave the property. Upon arrival at the scene, police say they advised McKenna to leave and he again refused. As he was being arrested, police report, he shoved the officers in an attempt to leave. McKenna was held for morning arraignment.
Bench Warrant
Richard Mallouk, 54, of New York City, was found to be wanted by the Suffolk County Police Department on Tuesday, June 30 at approximately 9:50 p.m. According to reports, Mallouk was charged under the Southampton Village code for consuming an alcoholic beverage in public when it was found that he was wanted by SCPD. He was processed and turned over.
Patrick Bennett, 49, of Southampton, was arrested on an outstanding bench warrant on Saturday, July 4 at approximately 8:46 p.m.
Driving Troubles
Michael Ballester, 20, of East Moriches, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated on Thursday, July 2 at approximately 2:52 a.m. According to reports, Ballester was pulled over for a vehicle and traffic violation on North Sea Road. Upon stop, he was found to be intoxicated. He was held for morning arraignment.
Kevin Van Roberts, 38, of New York City, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated on Saturday, July 4 at approximately 1:18 a.m. According to reports, Roberts was pulled over for speeding on North Sea Road. Upon stop, it was determined that he was intoxicated. Roberts was processed and held for morning arraignment.
Ryan Walsh, 27, of Garden City, was arrested and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated on Saturday, July 4 at approximately 2:57 a.m. According to reports, Walsh was pulled over on Windmill Lane for disobeying a steady red light. Upon further investigation, he was found to be intoxicated. Walsh was processed and held for morning arraignment.
Louis Allemann, 64, of Hobe Sound, FL, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated on Saturday, July 4 at approximately 3:49 p.m. According to reports, Allemann was pulled over on Jobs Lane after he failed to yield to a woman pushing a stroller in the crosswalk. Upon further investigation, he was found to be in possession of an open alcoholic beverage in his vehicle. Allemann was held for morning arraignment.
Peter Sinram, 53, of Sag Harbor, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the first degree on Saturday, July 4 at approximately 10:55 p.m. According to reports, Sinram was pulled over for speeding and failing to keep right while driving on Hill Street. Upon stop, police found that he was intoxicated. Police also report that a computer check revealed that Sinram's license was revoked in August 2010 for a prior DWI conviction. His vehicle was impounded.
Christian Fleming, 25, of Mastic, was arrested for aggravated driving while intoxicated on Monday, July 6 at approximately 12:07 p.m. According to reports, Fleming was pulled over for speeding and talking on a cell phone while driving on Hill Street. Upon stop, police found that she was intoxicated. Fleming was held for morning arraignment.
