Learn the facts and share your thoughts at what promises to be an enlightening forum, "Talkin' Trash," on Tuesday, October 20 at 7 p.m., at Southampton Youth Services on Majors Path.
Did you know that the Towns of Southampton and East Hampton recently received the lowest scores, next to Riverhead, for recycling on Long Island? Each of the two towns received a C in the report card released last month by the Citizens' Campaign for the Environment.

Chris Nuzzi, member of the Southampton Town Board and the board's waste management liaison; Maureen Dolan Murphy, executive programs manager for the Citizens Campaign for the Environment;
Brian Gilbride, Mayor of Sag Harbor, former Sanitation Supervisor for the Town of Southampton, and manager at Emil Norsic & Son, Inc; and Richard Hodgson, from the department of waste management in Southampton.
