Southampton - The Southampton Hospital Ellen Hermanson Breast Center was a partial beneficiary of the 2009 Long Island 2 Day Walk. Ginny Salerno and Noreen Wohlgemuth of the Long Island 2 Day Walk attended the recent opening of the new Breast Center at Southampton Hospital and presented the donation check which will be used toward patient care.

The Long Island 2 Day Walk was organized to raise awareness and funding for the fight against breast cancer on Long Island. All of the donations raised by the participants are distributed to grassroots service organizations so the funds reach the members of the Long Island community affected by breast cancer.
