Town of Southampton Citizens' Response Center

Southampton - The Town of Southampton has issued a Citizens' Response Center (CRC) e-Newsletter, as the Town of Southampton CRC is open to listen to your concerns and suggestions for the community. This response center will assist the Town in identifying problems in local areas and respond quickly.
CRC is excited to offer the e-newsletter to better inform the community of the latest news and upcoming events within our area.

Road Closures And Detours
• Full closure dates on North Road: January 9, 2012 to May 25, 2012
• Lane closure dates on North Road May 28, 2012 through August 31, 2012
• Pedestrian Pathway: Pedestrians will be provided with a secure, safe pathway on one side of the bridge during construction and non-working hours.
LIRR Infrastructure Repairs And Traffic Impacts
Next week the Long Island Railroad is scheduled to begin work on three significant infrastructure projects in Hampton Bays. The LIRR has indicated they will be providing additional information on these plans to the media in order to advise the public. (The first press coverage of these plans occurred last fall.
The Rehabilitation Of Three Montauk Bridges
• North Highway Bridge
• Montauk Highway Bridge: Lane closure dates on Montauk Highway January 9, 2012 to May 25, 2012. Pedestrians will be provided with a secure, safe pathway on one side of the bridge during construction and non-working hours.
• Shinnecock Canal: Full Closure Dates on Canal Road West. Closed March 1, 2012 until May 24, 2013. Pedestrians will be provided with a secure, safe pathway on Canal Road West.
