Southampton - Come meet, listen to and exchange ideas with the candidates for Southampton Town Board, Highway Superintendent and Suffolk County Legislature in a very informal atmosphere.

As with all of the Green Drinks events, this is an opportunity to network and exchange ideas with people working, learning and thinking green. It is also a chance to do the same with Southampton candidates. So come, have fun, enjoy some of OSO's wonderful food, have a drink and chat with the candidates.

To date expected attendance includes Anna Throne-Holst, Chris Nuzzi, Bridget Fleming, Sally Pope, Alex Gregor, Jim McGann and Jay Schneiderman.

This is not a debate or other podium forum. Instead this is a chance to meet one on one with these candidates, hear about the parts of their environmental platforms that interest you and let them hear about your ideas.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. and your $8 admission donation includes great food and all drinks are only $5.

Every month, in locations throughout Long island, Green Drinks gatherings bring together hundreds of environmental businesspeople, professionals, advocates, officials, educators and people just interested in learning to share experiences, converse, collaborate, discuss, grow and have a really good time.
