Riverhead - Throughout October, ghouls and buoys of all ages are invited to visit Poseidon's Pumpkin Hay Patch at Atlantis Marine World and hunt for their very own free pumpkin to paint and decorate. Then, taking place over two special weekends, the Aquarium becomes alive for its annual Halloween celebration.
On October 24, October 25, October 31, and November 1, enjoy Tricks, Treats, Tentacles 'n More! and wander among slithering sharks, eerie eels, and slimy sharks. Explore the Aquarium and discover wacky activities, including "boo"tiful crafts, spooky scavenger hunts, and interactive story times. Encounter creepy science exhibits, including real animal dissections, with our mad scientists in their lab.
Then, on Halloween, kids in costume will receive 50 percent off their admission price, when accompanied by an adult. Plus, prizes will be awarded for best marine-themed costumes!
This spooktacular event is open to guests of all ages and is included with admission.
