Southampton - MCRA (Maran Corporate Risk Associates) is participating in an office "March Madness" week to raise funds for Relay for Life of the South Fork (an organization dedicated to finding a cure for cancer). A team of co-workers is conducting fund raising activities for the organization, which consist of a series of silly and embarrassing contests and events in the office.

MCRA will take video of the different events and post them on youtube, and will also keep track of the events on Facebook as well.

Jennifer Davis, Marketing and Media Director for MCRA, says "It's a great way to raise money for a good cause, and boost office morale."

Monday, March 15 - Kick-Off And Registration
Morning – Bagels, Coffee & Juice will be available all morning. Be sure to see Megan to turn in your $5 and register for the week's events. When you register you will also be given details on the week long Penny Races between "Managers" and "Everyone Else" and the "Doodling ONLY Art Contest" to be judged on Friday.

3 p.m.: Paper Airplane Contest: Build your plane for distance and come on down to the first floor where you will go head to head against your fellow co-workers to see whose plane can fly the furthest. Points will be awarded to the top three finishers.

Tuesday, March 16 - Luau Day
Don't forget to Wear your Hawaiian Shirt Day - judging will be via web poll. Points will be awarded to the top three finishers. Also, everyone that wears one will be awarded one point for participating, be sure to check in during the day to get your point. You can also bet on fellow co-workers. Bets will be for individual events as well as to the Final Four bracket. There is a $1 per bet with the pot going 50/50 to the winners and Relay for Life.

Tuesday will also be the start of the Decorate Your Cubicle Contest. Participants will have all week to decorate with a St. Patrick's Day Theme. Judges will come around on Friday and award points to the top three finishers based on originality, creativity, tackiness and consistency to the St Patrick's Day theme.

Wii Bowling Tournament begins on Tuesday as well. Stop by the break room all week during lunch and play a quick round of Wii Bowling. Up to four players can compete at once. There will be a score sheet (and snacks!) in the break room. Play as much as you would like, the top four highest averages will go head to head during the Final Face Off on Friday.

3 p.m. - How low can you go? Join in for a little limbo contest on the first floor. Points will be awarded to the top three finishers.

Wednesday, March 17 – Luck Of The Irish Day
Don't forget to Wear your Green Day! Everyone that wear green will be awarded one point for participating. Be sure to check in during the day to get your point.

Waste Paper Basketball – the game and rules will be set up outside of the conference room. Stop by whenever you have a free moment, take three shots and after you are done make to record your score. Points will be awarded to the top three finishers, and be sure to get in a few frames of Wii Bowling.

Thursday, March 18 – College Day
Wear your college shirt with pride today (the college you went to or the college your kids and money goes to) - everyone that does will be awarded one point for participating,

Be sure to submit your "Doodling ONLY Art Contest" entries by the end of the day.

Ping Pong Tournament – Yes it's finally here! Come one, come all for snacks, food, beer, fun and Ping Pong - [check with MCRA directly for location]. In addition to the most points of all events being awarded tonight the winner will receive the coveted "Golden Paddle Award." This event requires an additional $5 to enter but remember it's for a good cause. Points will be awarded for bringing friends, the points for friends will be awarded to the MCRA employee who brought them. There is a $10 entry fee to those who do not participate in March Madness.

Today is the final day to have scores recorded for Wii Bowling before the Final Face Off on Friday.

Friday, March 19 - Final Day
The judges will check out cubicles today. It's your last chance to impress them with your creativity. Points will be awarded to the top three finishers.

The "Doodling ONLY Art Contest" will also be judged today with points being awarded to the top three finishers.

12 noon - Wii Bowling Final Face Off, the bowlers with the top four highest averages will go head to head to claim their title of top MCRA Bowler! Points will be awarded to the top three finishers.

ChaChing! – The Penny Wars will be tallied today. Every member of the winning team will have three points added to their point total.

3 p.m. – The GOLD Medal Ceremony, the totals will be computed and the top three finishers will be given prizes and medals, including two tickets to any Broadway show for the first place winner. The 50/50 betting prizes will be distributed, and a total tally of the money raised fro Relay For Life will be announced.
