East Hampton - The Ross School's first annual Golf Outing at the famed Bridge Golf Club, designed by Rees Jones, ASGCA, in Bridgehampton, was a huge success. More than 40 golfers played on the dramatic 18-hole walking course on May 18. Steve Maietta, Bill Rockford and Tim Davis won gift certificates to The Bridge Pro Shop for "Closest to the Flag," while Ron Delsener, NY Chairman of Live Nation, won the 50/50 raffle, presented by Michele Claeys, Head of School.

The event was also attended by Ross parents Tim Davis, Jeff Rimland and Rich Iacono. Joe Gurrera, owner of Citarella's, and John Tortorella, owner J. Tortorella Custom Gunite Pools, played with their foursomes. Strong's Marine sponsored the chance to win $20,000 for a hole in one at the fifth hole, but there were no winners. Proceeds from the successful outing will benefit Ross School Programs and Scholarships.
