Southampton - Donna Riess, a laboratory aide at Southampton Hospital, has been chosen as the Hospital's Employee of the Quarter for the second quarter of 2009.

Riess' selection was celebrated at a luncheon in her honor, where President and CEO Robert S. Chaloner presented her with a trophy recognizing her achievement and her peers shared many compliments; "She is an invaluable employee to the Lab," he offered. "She's always going above and beyond and is quick to assist others. She boosts morale throughout the Lab with her bright smile and positive attitude."

A resident of Southampton, Riess has been working in the Lab for just over a year and according to Carole Graff, Riess' supervisor, "Donna's high energy level and positive attitude make her invaluable to the laboratory department. She is well respected by all that know and come in contact with her. We are happy to have her as part of our team."
