The East Hampton Library Will Celebrate Its Author! Author! Evening

On Saturday, August 9, The East Hampton Library will be presenting its Fourth Annual Authors Night event to benefit the East Hampton Library.

Honorary co-chairs Alec Baldwin, Robert Caro, winner of two Pulitzer prizes, and Barbara Goldsmith, best selling author, will be joined by more than 75 distinguished authors, including E.L. Doctorow, James Brady, Malachy McCourt, Marie Brenner, Fareed Zakaria, A.M. Homes, Alan Planz, and many, many others, for this unique and inspiring evening.

The evening begins with the Authors Reception under the tent at the Library, with fabulous cocktail fare and wine, the opportunity to chat with an incredible group of renowned authors, buy their books and have them personally inscribed.

Following the reception, more than 400 guests will be hosted at 20 plus different East Hampton private homes, each themed around a particular guest author and book.

Ticket prices begin at $75 for the Authors Reception, dinner is $200 and up. Proceeds from this unique event benefit The East Hampton Library, a private, not-for-profit organization and help it provide free outstanding library services to the East Hampton community.
