Yogis from all over New York and the East End community will come together at Hayground School
for a weekend of zen during the inaugural Hamptons YogaFest on Friday, September 18th through Sunday, September 20th.
Founders Jenna Walter and Alex Grant have teamed up to create what they call a life-changing experience by connecting the five key themes: celebration, unity, balance, beauty and truth. "It's long been our dream to bring a yogic celebration to the Hamptons - where we have deep personal connections," said Grant.
The YogaFest debuts on Friday at 5 p.m. with a Festival Activation Acoustic Set from Steve Anderson, followed by an Opening Ceremony at 6 p.m. The weekend will showcase local and international presenters and artists, who will supply a series of workshops and classes during the day, and concerts in the evenings.
The festival will offer workshops in Anusara, Ashtanga, Ishta, Iyengar, Restorative and Vinyasa Flow. Some of the studios who have already confirmed their participation in the event include Yogi Shanti in Sag Harbor; Mandala Yoga
in Amagansett; KamaDeva Yoga
in East Hampton; One Ocean Yoga
in Bridgehampton; Laughing Lotus in New York City
and Ishta Yoga Schoo in New York City.
Yoga classes will begin on Saturday at 8 a.m. and continue through Sunday. The sessions are designed to fit a variety of skill levels. Young yogis can explore the "Kids Village," an interactive space for children.

The festival will feature a "Vendor's Village" with locally sourced farm-to-table food options. Herbs, oils, juices and more will be available for purchase from Hayground School and other local Long Island farms. The YogaFest will also offer retail stalls, where guests can purchase items like jewelry, clothing and art.
Classes are $20 each, which does not include the special workshops or concerts. YogaFest passes range from $48 to $268.
