You may already know HAMPTONS Handpoured for its collection of soy candles inspired by East End villages, but once again the brand has managed to turn everyone’s favorite rosé into something that they can enjoy well into the fall.
“The Summer in a Bottle candle launched near the end of last summer, but customers became so connected with the candle version of their favorite summer rosé that boutique curator Ginny included our candle in their summer line up for 2016,” explained Brittany Torres, Founder of HAMPTONS Handpoured. “Notes of refreshing Rosé Wine, crisp Green Apple, and sweet Peach aiming to capture all of the aromas of Wölffer’s Classic Summer in a Bottle.”
After the 2016 rosé season comes to a close and the last drop of Wölffer Estate Vineyard Summer in a Bottle Rosé has been poured, let your fond summer memories continue with HAMPTONS Handpoured’s The Summer in a Bottle candle.
The collaboration is available exclusively at the Boutique at Wölffer Estate Vineyard (139 Sagg Road, Sagaponack), and for those of you that head to the Wölffer Wine Stand (3312 Montauk Highway,
Sagaponack) for sunset concerts, don’t forget to pick one up while you’re there. “You don’t have to do a tasting to shop in the boutique or wine stand,” added Torres.
Along with the candles that are so delightfully fragrant their scent fills up a room even while not lit, the Wölffer Boutique also sells a variety of other East End-based goods. “Erica (Wölffer event coordinator), Ginny (Boutique Master), and Patti (Chalkboard Artist) at Wölffer are so warm and inviting and aim to support local East End artisans such as myself,” she shared. “The entire boutique is filled with local items such as bucket totes and yoga mats by Hampton Totes and soaps and solid perfume by Southampton Soap Company!”
If you love the idea of filled your humble abode with Summer in a Bottle themed items, a visit to the Boutique is a must. “Ginny also hand cuts Rosé bottles to be used as lanterns and creates blankets and other textile goods for the shop,” shared Torres.
The locally made, handcrafted candles cover Montauk all the way to Huntington. “All walks of life flock to the Hamptons for a multitude of reasons, but I believe there’s one thing that most certainly draws us all here and that is the natural beauty that exists only a few short hours from New York City,” noted Torres. “In my scented candle collections by HAMPTONS Handpoured, I aim to capture the essence of what makes this community so special.”
Torres is constantly thinking about adding to the line. “Our newest scents include Huntington (which has become in many ways an extension of the Hamptons) and Remsenburg (a hamlet of Westhampton),” added Torres. “We also launched smaller sections of the East End including, Springs, Northwest Woods, North Sea, Shinnecock Hills, Noyac, and North Haven.”
Torres, an East End native, believes it’s tremendously important to support the community. “My Village Collection candles are carried in an assortment of retail venues around the Hamptons,” she said. “I love working with and being part of this community. I go out of my way to support local businesses and our community.”
With each scent, she tried to capture the essence of the area. “Each scent used in my HAMPTONS Handpoured Signature Village Collection tells the story of life on the East End,” she noted. “We can also make custom candles for your event or business!”
