Fashion Designer and Sag Harbor resident, Nicole Miller will be celebrating the launch of the designer’s first ever “La Plage” collection in a very fitting way – a pop-up shop at Montauk’s beach hotspot, The Surf Lodge. Starting Friday, July 8th and spanning through the weekend till Sunday, July 10th, fashionistas can get their hands on Miller’s new beachwear collection at one of the most beautiful Hamptons locals.
Influenced by her own love of being on the water, the “La Plage” collection started when Miller “began making printed rash guards for herself and her friends for waterskiing, kite boarding, and wake boarding.” The designer, who spends countless hours on the water at her Sag Harbor house, “found the need for beachwear that’s stylish and flattering, but also functional,” which is what the “La Plage” collection is. From there, Miller’s rash guards evolved into cover-ups, and then to a full collection, which will be available for purchase at The Surf Lodge.
The tropic-inspired lightweight beachwear collection features all the essentials for a day in the sun for every kind of beach goer. Ranging from on-trend one pieces for tanning, to comfortable, flowy shorts, to in-season maxi dress cover-ups for a more relaxed beach day, to colorful patterned swim leggings and rash guards for the more active beach goers among us, the “La Plage” collection has all the bases covered for dressing to impress on your day off.
The pop-up shop will last all weekend, from 12 to 8 p.m., making the three day exclusive launch a must attend event for those looking to spice up their beach wardrobes.
The Surf Lodge is located at 183 Edgemere Street in Montauk. For more information about the collection, visit www.nicolemiller.com.
