With Christmas and the start of Hanukkah mere weeks away, holiday shopping crunch time is rapidly nearing. If you prefer to gift something thoughtful and rare that was crafted by a local artisan, don’t miss the annual By Hand Artisan’s Holiday Gift Show on Saturday, December 14 and Sunday, December 15.
“The By Hand show is well known as one of the best craft fairs in the area,” Aimee Dallob of Felt Fantastic Knits, who curates the event, shared. “This year’s show will have many popular returning vendors and some new artisan’s as well.”
Housed at Ashawagh Hall in East Hampton, the pop up holiday market’s 21st iteration will encompass exceptional fused glass, knits and felted wool, specialty yarn, sea glass, skincare, soaps, specialty foods, mosaics, wooden toys, original jewelry, ceramics and more.
2019 vendors will include Long Island Yarn & Farm (fiber arts and skincare), Felt Fantastic Knits (fiber arts), Sag Harbor Glass (fused glass creations), PNL Wooden Toys (puzzles and toys), Moonstones (gemstone jewelry and ornaments), Hampton Crafts by Helen (decoupage), DiBernardo Carvings (carved wildlife), Eros Design (porcelain pins) Sag Harbor Seashells (sea glass art), Marcie Honerkamp Custom Mosaics (signs), Jewelry by JBF (beach glass & silver), South Fork Bakery (specialty cookies), Made In the Hamptons (driftwood crafts), NautiGal Soaps (novelty soaps), Sag Harbor Clayfish (ceramics), White Elephant Designs (hand-beaded jewelry), Two Jammin’ Chicks (jams and jellies), Shelly Sells Sea Salt (sea salt products), Sag Harbor Wax Creations (gel candles), and Silk & Sea Designs (fiber arts).
