Coffee + Flowers, the brainchild of Claire Chan, owner of The Elk and Bar Beau, and Kelsie Hayes, founder of POPUP FLORIST, is coming to Cynthia Rowley this summer.
“Kelsie Hayes, founder/owner of POPUP FLORIST, is a dear friend of mine,” Chan relayed. “The Elk is actually where she did her first ever popup shop! I came to Kelsie with the idea and we have such a great friendship + work relationship that we were able to put our heads together and execute quickly!”
Located outside of Cynthia Rowley’s Montauk location, Coffee + Flowers will offer coffee, obviously, as well as a variety of breakfast options, gluten-free, vegan + raw treats, beach essentials – including hats, sweatshirts, and beach bags – and candles that boast their own custom scent. In July, beach picnic baskets will be available. Beverages will feature beloved Elk and Bar Beau brews, including coffee, espresso, macchiato, cappuccino, latte, cold brew, matcha, chai, and golden latte, as well as lemonade, fresh pressed juice, kombucha, and coconut water. Additionally, shoppers will find a beautiful selection of plants, local flowers, and dried flowers that will be sourced from the local Long Island farms.
“I’ve been going to Montauk consistently for the past six years,” Chan shared. “I love that in a few hours you can be transported to a completely different place.”
The pop up plans to host several activations and partnerships throughout the summer as well.
“Anytime I get to be near good surf and the beach I’m happy,” she added. “We wanted to create a space where people can enjoy this special place with us, and Coffee + Flowers was created with this free spirit in mind.”
The pop up will debut on Saturday, May 25 and be open Thursday through Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., in June and seven days a week, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., starting July.
