Often these patients have chronic conditions and stress-related symptoms that can be significantly improved by mind/body interventions.

The Ed and Phyllis Davis Wellness Institute at Southampton Hospital announces its latest mind body wellness program for all cancer patients which teaches people how to reduce physical and emotional problems caused by illness.

The eight week course is taught by Mind/Body/Wellness certified staff who were trained at Harvard Medical College. The program is covered by most medical insurance and a Medical Evaluation is required to register. The program is from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Wednesdays beginning on April 14 through June 2.

Space is limited and registration is required. Call 631-726-8800, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or email to wellness@southamptonhospital.org.
