Launched in 2009 by Polish-born designer Maria Dobrzanska Reeves, Marysia Swim embodies an understated yet luxe look that fits on the beaches of Montauk as well as a yacht chartered off the Amalfi Coast. The Resort 2013/2014 Collection features visually intriguing designs like the strapless shark attack maillot, cloud colorblock bandeau bikini, peplum maillot, and scalloped bandeau bikini.
Dobrzanska Reeves, a former ballet dancer and surfing enthusiast, wanted to create a modern and effortless line. Each bathing suit is available in a bright, bold color, which this season is sunset pink, or a variety of neutrals like white, black and navy. Leopard and gingham prints are also prominently featured throughout the collection.
For Resort 2013/2014, the designer included a few pieces which were inspired by the Hamptons. Amgansett is a fitted v-neck dress with pebbled texture and scallop detail available in Midnight Blue, Sunset Pink and Morning Dew (a black and white gingham print). Montauk is a fitted skirt with pebbled texture and scallop detail available in Black, Sky Blue, and Gingham Print.
