Holiday shopping budgets may be limited this year, but there are still plenty of wonderful gifts for the interior design-lover on your list that you can find right here in the Hamptons.
Bigger and fancier isn't always better; especially when it comes to decorating the home. Often, unique is more important than expensive, and some of this season's trends can be had for under $100. Coral patterns, faux fur, and natural elements are hot, and adding accessories that fit this description is an easy and inexpensive way to achieve the look.

Parks also suggests a set of four coasters in faux shagreen that come in an elegantly lidded box for $45. The set is available in four colors: chamois, bottle green, navy, and mushroom.
At Bittersweet Interiors in Bridgehampton, a variety of True Candles by Joseph Thomas in wheat, dogwood, and willow scents range from $38 to $80. Simple and chic Jurlisca glassware ranges from $88 to $175, and can be used for holiday or year-round decorating.
Also in this price range are the "Natural Curiosity" books, which include gorgeous prints of insects and sea creatures ready for framing. The books are a bit more at $125, but are far less expensive than buying a nature print separately. They're also more convenient than tearing out pictures from a traditional book of nature drawings. Available at Mecox.
At Homenature in Southampton, a vintage cocktail set with pop graphics can be had for $195, and sets of elk horn boxes, votive holders, and picture frames are available from $55 to $125. A set of nickel lanterns could make a beautiful holiday display, and the prices creep up from $125 to $642.

Calypso offers pillows in every pattern and color imaginable from designer labels Ankasa, Design Legacy, John Robshaw, Maison de Vacances, and R and Y Augousti. Pillows in big, graphic, and colorful prints are in style now and they range from $90 to $400, but many of them are marked down.

As tempting as it is, don't over-pillow. If you or your gift recipient have a lot of pillows already, try lamps. Calypso has some lovely mercury lamps from Roost for $185, $235, $365 from small to large.
Worth a splurge at Calypso is a fabulous silvery, denim bean bag that recalls carefree, youthful after-school hours. It's comfortable and supportive enough for all ages, but probably won't fit into everyone's budget at $1,195.
Back at Homenature, there are handmade lace coral lamps that would elegantly grace any Hamptons seaside home. At $1,950 each, they're only for those at the top of the gift list.
Also in the higher price range is the Sophie Lounge Chair at Mecox for $2,975. It's one of those pieces that could work in just about any room. It's versatile, stylish, and fun, but also a classic that won't go out of style in a few seasons.
The bedside chest upholstered in cowhide with leather handles and details is perfect for the stylish friend who has everything, but he or she surely won't have this. It's $2,800 at Mecox.
At any price there are great gift ideas across the Hamptons. Be sure to go early and check back often for great deals and unique items.
