About H. Bloom
CEO
Bryan Burkhart and co-founder
Sonu Panda launched
H. Bloom in New York City in April 2010 after noticing a void in the flower industry. Burkhart and Panda applied a subscription model to their flower business in hopes of eliminating the traditional spoilage in flowers, and thus, lowering prices for consumers. By working directly with flower growers,
H. Bloom can cut out traditional overhead expenses and offer affordable pricing for quality goods.
"The flower industry is saddled with unnecessary cost," Burkhart said. "Retailers have to pay for expensive store-fronts and an overwhelming percentage of flowers that spoil before a customer can purchase them. With no retail footprint and the predictability of subscriptions, we know exactly what flowers to order and can pass on the savings to our customers."

Another unique subscriber benefit is
H. Bloom Weekly Deals, where subscribers are offered deeply-discounted pricing on time-sensitive flower arrangements each week. Customers can also send
H. Bloom bouquets as gifts now that the company has partnered with luxury florists across the country to provide on-demand floral arrangements.
H. Bloom provides simplicity and convenience, in just a few clicks. The subscription service allows clients to sign up, choose the type of arrangements, delivery day and delivery frequency. While the gift-giving possibilities are endless, "Over 85 percent of our residential customers are those buying a subscription, and a bit of luxurious lifestyle, for themselves," says Burkhart.
H. Bloom currently operates in New York City, Chicago and DC metro areas, with expansion to 25 cities on the horizon.
