Southampton - This year, bargain hunters can get their fill of philanthropy and fashion with
Super Saturday Live on leading multi-channel retailer QVC. On Saturday, Aug. 1 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. EST, you can tune-in to QVC for what is dubbed "the Rolls Royce of garage sales."
The exclusive sale, which was previously only available to Hamptons' tastemakers and celebrities, will reach QVC's 95 million U.S. households, allowing shoppers throughout the country to get designer styles at a fraction of the manufacturer's suggested retail price.
At-home shoppers will be able to tune-in to QVC Presents Super Saturday Live to get a taste of the event and to score great deals from big names in designer clothing, accessories and beauty. Since Super Saturday is known for its celebrity following, it's fitting that
Kelly Ripa and
Mark Consuelos teamed up with QVC to host for the televised event. All net proceeds go directly to the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation, which will keep you from feeling any buyer's remorse!
Celebrities like
Mena Suvari,
Haylie Duff,
Bethenny Frankel and
Karina Smirnoff have already gotten into the Super Saturday spirit by sporting exclusive QVC items created especially for the Super Saturday event.
All items will be offered through QVC and QVC.com at half the suggested retail price with net proceeds benefiting the OCRF.
