Southampton - The Fifth Annual Shecky's Girls Day Out in the Hamptons took place on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon at the Southampton Historical Museum
Rogers Mansion. The event was attended by hundreds of people including
Beth Ostrosky Stern,
Nikki Cascone of "Top Chef" Season 4 and
Dina Manzo from "The Real Housewives of New Jersey." Shecky's Girls Day Out featured unique designers, drinks from Shecky's sponsors, and guests could also enjoy various spa treatments. This year for a fixed trip guests who lived in the city could enjoy round-trip transportation provided by the Hampton Jitney. The event was sponsored by The Body Shop, Veet,
Cointreau and Arizona Rescue Water, with national sponsors Bacaradi, Bud Light Lime and Budweiser Select 55.
Guests could purchase jewelry, clothing, handbags, shoes, make-up, beauty products, accessories, home goods, and deals on spa products from a variety of vendors. They could also be pampered with The Body Shop offering facials and hand massages, Trendsrus.com "feathering" people by adding feather extensions to people's hair, The Michael Fredo Salon had stylists cutting and or styling guests hair, and another vendor offering a 20 minute teeth whitening at a discounted price.

Veet was offering free samples of their new ready-to-use wax strips and guests could take a picture with a male model, guests could also spin the "Wicked" wheel where they could win prizes related to the musical. They could then text message a number to win tickets to see "Wicked." At the Lia Sophia booth guests could sign up to win a gift certificate to Lia Sophia and if they wanted they could sign up to host a jewelry party.
Also at the event guests could take a bartender class where Jared from Cointreau taught the class how to make the perfect margarita. People who took the class could then taste test three drinks and be entered to win a chance for a bartender to come to their house and teacher them and their friends how to make a variety of cocktails with Cointreau.
One trend that could be seen at the event was feathers, whether it was in the form of hair extensions or earrings, several vendors offered a variety of ways to wear the popular trend. The Trendsrus.com booth was offering to "feather" guests by offering to add extensions to those who purchased the feather extensions at their booth. Another trend was delicate, simple silver or gold jewelry which could be seen at several boutiques including Lia Sophia, Jewelry Bar and Yania Creations. Pearl necklaces were also sold at several vendors. KC Signature offered a variety of pearl necklaces from just freshwater pearls to a pearls with a variety of stones. Designs by Febe offered unique larger strands of pearls which a trendy spin on the classic pearl necklace.
Shecky's hosts a variety of different events held in various cities nationwide. If you missed Shecky's Hamptons they will be holding a Girls Night Out in New York City at la.venue and Terminal Stores October 18 through Octoer 20.
