Sequins, Feathers And Bows: How To Score The Perfect New Year's Eve Outfit This Year

A trio of cocktail frocks. (tradetang.com)

Southampton - It's an inevitable part of the holiday season: Christmas ends, and the mad dash to find the perfect New Year's Eve party dress begins. Of course we're all looking for the same thing, a standout, knock out dress to "wow" all of our friends at the party, and of course that show off to that special someone.

This year, I will be spending New Year's Eve in New York City with friends. I admit, there is nothing I love more than the perfect cocktail dress, and finding such a treasure in such a short window of time, without breaking the bank traditionally leads to bounds of stress.

After carousing the websites of all my favorite shopping destinations from J.Crew to Lilly Pulitzer, and every department store in between with no luck, I decided to try something new. At the suggestion of a friend of mine, I visited the website I-Ella.com, an online marketplace where users can buy, borrow, swap, and sell fashion apparel and accessories at a fabulous discount.

I-Ella has gathered together a huge selection of truly dazzling pieces once owned by fellow fashionistas. They really have everything I could have asked for, from sequin dresses to decadent high heels. Users can buy the latest stylish, designer apparel at a discount in time for New Year's Eve, and can even share the outfits worn in past years with other I-Ella.com users by electing to sell past pieces, letting others borrow them for a small fee, or even swapping with someone!

In addition to this, 10 percent of each transaction fee is donated to a charity or social venture. I-Ella is a great way to score a knockout outfit, at a fraction of the cost. Buy, borrow, or swap some sparkle with I-Ella and ring in the New Year in style!
