The Strawberry Cleansing Scrub.(Courtesy Photo: Katz)

Strawberry Cleansing Scrub
This is a gentle exfoliating scrub for hands, face, and body. Strawberries are rich in salicylic acid an ingredient found in many acne treatments.

 • 2 pureed strawberries
 • 1 tbsp. of olive oil
 • 1 tbsp. of vegetable oil
 • 2 tbsps. granulated sugar

Combine ingredients, then scrub areas to be exfoliated. Rinse with warm water.

 • Almond Milk Dry Skin Cleanser
If you have dry, sensitive skin, this is the ideal cleanser for you. Almond oil is a gentle emollient which softens skin. Milk will add moisture and honey is a humectant.

 • 1 tsp. almond oil
 • 2 tbs. whole milk
 • 1 tsp. honey

Mix ingredients in a bowl. Apply to skin in a circular motion for a minute or 2. Rinse with a warm cloth and water.

Apple Acne/Oily Skin Cleanser
Apple juice is wonderful for oily skin because it is a mild astringent and will help remove dirt and oil. Apple are also rich in vitamin C which helps protect the skin from sun damage.

 • 1 tbs. apple juice
 • 2 tbs. skin milk
 • 1 tsp. honey

Rose Steam Bath For Your Face
When I want to give myself a treat, I steam my face for about 10 minutes to open up my pores, and loosen blackheads that have formed on my skin. In the spring I like to add rose petals because I love the smell of fresh flowers.

What You Will Need
 • A pot you can put on the stove
 • 1 cup of rose petals
 • A bath towel
Water

Simply fill the pot half way up with water and bring it to a boil. Add the rose petals to the pot. Remove the pot from the stove and place it on a heat-proof surface. Lean over the pot with your face about 12 inches away. Place a towel over your head and breathe in the steam. When you are done, you can keep the rose water and add it to your bath water.
