Luxury womenswear designer Douglas Hannant presented his Spring 2010 collection and celebrated the opening of his first retail boutique at The Plaza Hotel recently. As I stepped through the doors at Megna Glass, in Sag Harbor last Tuesday, I instantly knew I was about to witness something special. Opened in 1999 by Martin Megna and his wife Mariann, Megna Glass exists as a unique entity, producing a stunning array of custom handmade glass cabinet fixtures, lighting fixtures, chandeliers, ornaments and just about anything their clients can imagine.
