Southampton - Gavin Keilly is the President of GBK Productions. A successful entrepreneur in Hollywood, six years ago, the Los Angeles native, with a passion for philanthropy, wanted to bridge the gap between non-profit foundations and for-profit companies, creating a "win-win-win" situation in the process.
The brainchild of this was GBK Productions, a three-armed company that works symbiotically as a non-profit gifting suite for high profile events throughout the U.S. Keilly's formula is simple. Working with celebrities and charities, GBK allows companies to showcase their products at opulent gifting suites that in turn donate a large percentage to sponsored charities. GBK's Charity events have raised between $500,000 to $4 million.
GBK provides luxurious gift bags valued at $40,000 to $50,000 for award shows such as the Oscars, Grammys, Emmys, Golden Globes, and other select TV Award Shows and high-profile celebrity driven events.
GBK's innovative events are often themed supporting and nurturing up and coming artists, charities and brands. The determination to make a difference begins with Keilly himself, starting with his "discovery" by Sharon Osborne after she admired his work at City of Hope's Great Women in Film event.
Keilly says, "I've never put a celebrity up on a pedestal. To me a celebrity is somebody that's making a difference with the gifts they've been given." Gavin's passion to make a difference has a twist to it. He says, "You have to feel good about yourself before others can feel good about you."
