Southampton - Gianna Rose Atelier, a leader in fine bath and gift soap products, will debut a collection of French-milled soaps in honor of the upcoming Chinese New Year: The Dragon in 2012.

The Year of the Dragon Soap Set was created with fresh ginger, green tea, natural botanical extracts and bergamot fragrance in a purely vegetable-based triple milled soap. Rich with nurturing emollients, the Year of the Dragon Soap Set features four soaps, silk-screened with beautiful Chinese art inspired by two ancient wood carvings, in a festive gold and red gift box ($25 retail).

According to the Chinese Zodiac, the New Year of 2012 begins on January 23, 2012 and ends on February 9, 2013. The Dragon is a creature of both myth and legend. It is the ultimate auspicious symbol signifying success and happiness.

Hand assembled in an atelier atmosphere using a combination of old world tools, techniques, and modern American manufacturing, Gianna Rose employs artisans who are devoted to the craft of making fine gifts and accessories for the home and bath. All Gianna Rose products are presented in ready-to-gift packaging, gift-boxed with exquisite letterpress images, graceful calligraphy and delicate adornments as fine silk ribbons, iridescent tissues, and velvet trims.

Founded in 1989 by a fashion and textile designer, Gianna Rose Atelier offers molded collections of elegant Couture Soaps, bath care accessories, and home fragrance products. Carried at more than 2,000 fine stores in the United States and around the world (including Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and Caswell-Massey), Gianna Rose Atelier continues to set the pace for creative design innovation in soap and personal care and set the standard for ready-to-gift presentations.
