East Hampton - Michelle Farmer, jewelry designer to the social sets of Palm Beach, St. Barth's and the Hamptons, will launch her latest collection at Calypso in East Hampton. The "Leather and Pearls" collection is where vintage old world glamour aligns with modern simplicity, adorning women stylishly from day to night.

Farmer, who has spent most of her life traveling the world, gets her inspiration from the places her life has taken her. "My pieces reflect fantastic blues from the ocean and sky, lush greens of the tropics and the intense oranges and pinks from sunset," said Farmer. "My designs work great with Calypso's no-fuss approach to style and being a Hamptons resident, I couldn't be more thrilled to launch at the East Hampton location."

The "Leather and Pearls Collection" was created using hand chosen leather in chocolate brown, black, natural or rust adorned with rare freshwater baroque pearls in peach, pink, white or chocolate and boast an artful teardrop shape. Select styles from the collection play triple duty in your wardrobe transforming from necklace to bracelet to belt with ease and elegance, able to be worn in up to 11 different ways. Prices in this collection range from $220 to $3,200.

Farmer launched her eponymous line in 2001 with a "by appointment only" bespoke clientele for whom she created one of a kind pieces. What followed shortly in 2003, by popular demand, was a stunning collection that quickly became a sensation in Palm Beach, New York, St. Barth's and East Hampton where her first showroom opened in 2009.

Michelle Farmer Fine Jewelry is now available at Calypso's East Hampton location, and will be sold in other Hamptons locations, Palm Beach, Los Angeles, Bal Harbour and Madison Avenue in October.
