Last month, the LuMind IDSC Foundation held its annual Summer Double Dip Fundraiser in East Hampton. The beloved event welcomed more than 300 guests and raised over $150,000 to support research for the Down syndrome community. The evening brought together friends, families, and supporters for a meaningful cause, with local businesses contributing drinks and light bites.

Last month, Lizzie and Jonathan Tisch hosted the third annual Summer Soirée for Citymeals on Wheels at their Bridgehampton home. The event brought together Citymeals’ supporters and board members, raising enough funds to deliver 22,000 nutritious meals to homebound older New Yorkers.

On Thursday, August 21st, the Southampton Playhouse hosted a 20th Anniversary screening of ROMANCE & CIGARETTES with the film’s Writer, Director, and Producer, John Turturro, and Actor Aida Turturro in attendance for a post-screening conversation moderated by Southampton Playhouse Artistic Director Eric Kohn. Turturro was recently nominated for an Emmy for his work in Apple TV+’s SEVERANCE.

Last week, Sag Harbor Cinema's screening of the documentary Billy Joel: And So It Goes was a triumph! The at-capacity event featured a star-studded list, including Christie Brinkley, Alexa Ray Joel, Co-directors Susan Lacy and Jessica Levin, and Executive Producer Steve Cohen, for a celebratory evening highlighting Billy Joel's discography and career.

On August 25th, The Center at West Park held a special one-night-only reading of All The President's Men at Guild Hall in East Hampton.

On Saturday, August 23rd, A Sense of Home (ASOH), a Los Angeles-based non-profit, held a fundraiser at Shawn and Sereba Levy's Hamptons home. The evenings benefited A Sense of Home's mission: preventing homelessness by creating homes for youth aging out of foster care and those impacted by natural disasters. 

The Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons (ARF Hamptons) hosted the Bow Wow Meow Ball in East Hampton. The evening's honorees, Ellen and Chuck Scarborough, were presented with the Champion of Animals Award, recognizing their more than twenty-five years of support to ARF.
