Chef 'Big Shake' Shawn Davis Serves Up The Shrimp Burger Casserole

Southampton - Shawn "Chef Big Shake" Davis, creator of CBS Foods: The Original Shrimp Burger serves up the Shrimp Burger Casserole.

The idea for The "Original" Shrimp Burger was inspired by Davis' daughter who, at age 10, decided to stop consuming all meats except seafood. Noting the limited amount of options available, Davis began creating meatless dishes his daughter and entire family could enjoy - and thus The "Original" Shrimp Burger was born.

Davis soon realized that there was an untapped market for seafood burgers and began creating variations of his Original Shrimp Burger, incorporating different flavors and recipe options into the mix. CBS Foods, Inc. operates out of Nashville, and offers gourmet, healthy seafood burgers, made from North Atlantic lobster and locally sourced gulf shrimp.

"Year after year I get better at providing my daughter with new and exciting recipes that include the shrimp burger. My daughter, Cheyenne, was the inspiration for the newest Turkey alternative recipe just in time for the holiday season. The shrimp burger casserole is exciting, full of flavor and will be a guaranteed hit at your next holiday gathering."

Shrimp Burger Casserole Serves 4

 • 4 Cooked Original (Chopped) flavored Shrimp Burgers
 • 1 lb. cooked Rotini pasta
 • ½ Cup Mozzarella cheese shredded
 • ¼ Cup diced green bell peppers
 • 1 Cup Half & Half
 • 1 Tablespoon of salt
 • ½ Tablespoon of pepper
 • 2 Cloves of crushed garlic
 • 1 Teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
 • ½ Stick of butter
 • ½ Cup grated parmesan cheese
 • 1 Tablespoon Oregano

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place cooked noodles and chopped shrimp burgers into a casserole dish. Add salt, pepper, crushed garlic, oregano and crushed red pepper in casserole dish and mix well. Slice butter into ¼ inch slices and place into mixture. Add Half & Half diced bell peppers, parmesan cheese and mozzarella cheese. Bake for 20 minutes until casserole is golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool for five minutes then serve.

Nashville based CBS Foods: The "Original" Shrimp Burger started from humble local beginnings and is now gearing up for nationwide roll-out. Since 2007, Shawn "Chef Big Shake" Davis has grown and developed CBS Foods in Tennessee and in just one month's time, CBS Foods will sweep the national food service market with their flagship product, The "Original" Shrimp Burger. In May 2011 CBS Foods was featured on the hit ABC show "Shark Tank" and has already filmed a follow-up success story segment set to air early in 2012. Chef Big Shake is currently bracing to release his book, "Get Your Ass Back In the Kitchen."
