Mojito, Caiprinha, and Passiontini |
I spent time recently with PassionFish co-owner Adam Lovett and bartender Paul Giordano. Adam has been out in the Hamptons since the early 90's leaving for a brief stint to become a teacher. But his true love was food and the hospitality industry. After working with the infamous Starr Boggs for a few years he finally bought the place now known as PassionFish.
When talk turned to food Adam suggested the shrimp tempura, salmon with roasted corn relish (the most popular item on the menu), and crab cakes. Paul loves the steaks and enjoys the variety. When he's not behind the bar you'll see him atop the lifeguard stands on the beach.
Drop in this Labor Day Monday for a big lobster bake - raw bar on the deck, surf and turf dinner, and Tom Schaudel and the Hurricanes on the patio starting at 6:00 p.m.
If you missed them in the summer drop by during the week for the Thursday and Sunday prix fixe. Regular menu Friday and Saturday. But hurry, PassionFish closes for the season on October 15th.
