Are your mixology skills not up to par? Make a date with Liquor Lab, who after launching in SoHo just six short months ago, is opening its second location in the Hamptons this summer.
“We’re excited to open our new Southampton location, bringing cocktail crafting classes and Champagne sabering out east,” noted Liquor Lab Founder Owen Meyer. “We’re adding a summery twist to our events and a few surprises, too.”
The one of a kind venue offers workshops where consumers can learn how to make tasty, well balanced cocktails. Classes will be held at Oreya at the Capri Hotel in Southampton every weekend, starting Friday, June 15. Sessions will revolve around fun themes like drinks around the world, whiskies of the world, summer cocktails, and more.
On Friday and Saturday evenings, from 6 to 7:15 p.m., students will embark on a three-beverage summer cocktail experience + dinner at Oreya. Saturday afternoons, from 12 to 1:30 p.m., the class will cover a three-beverage cocktail experience, showcasing summer-influenced drinks with intriguing twists and Hamptons influences – such as champagne sabering, with Champagne cocktails and cheeky Negronis made with Aperol.
There will also be a show stopping DIY Bloody Mary station available for visitors on Saturdays and Sundays, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., that will offer bases of Mezcal, Vodka, or Tequila, and 25 different garnishes.
Liquor Lab is limited to 32 attendees per session.
Oreya is located at 281 County Road 39A in Southampton. For more information, visit liquorlaboratory.com.
