A 60 degree Christmas in the Hamptons. Who would have thought?

After last year, I'm sure like myself, many were dreading the beginning of winter. So far, it seems like December is going to be a pretty mild month, so we're happy to toast to Tuesday, December 22nd (AKA the start of winter), as long as the Winter Solstice doesn't bring snowstorm after snowstorm.
Mexican Hot Chocolate: (Created by Rob Bennett at Blu Wolf Bistro in Rochester, NY)
• 1 oz. Soltado
• 1 oz. One Roq Chocolate Vodka
• 4 oz. Hot Chocolate Mocha (50:50 hot chocolate and espresso)
• Whipped Cream, Chipotle Chocolate Syrup, and Cinnamon for garnish
Drizzle glass with Chipotle Chocolate Syrup. Add Hot Chocolate Mocha, One Roq Chocolate Vodka, and Soltado. Top with whipped cream and cinnamon.
• 1.5 oz. Usquaebach Premium Reserve Blend
• 1 tsp. Sugar
• 1 tbsp. Pomegranate Seeds
• 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
• Orange peel and Cinnamon stick for garnish
In a rocks glass, add sugar, pomegranate seeds and bitters and muddle until sugar is dissolved. Add large ice cube, whisky and gently stir. Garnish with cinnamon stick and orange peel.
Hornitos Tequila Toddy:

• 2 parts Hornitos Plata Tequila
• 4 parts Hot Water
• 1/4 part Honey
• 1/4 part Agave
• 1 Lemon Wedge
• 1 Piece of Cinnamon
• 2 Cloves
Add all ingredients to a coffee cup or heatproof glass. Stir and let steep for one minute.
Naughty List Hot Chocolate:

• 1 part Pinnacle
• 1 part Hot Chocolate
Midori Cider. (Courtesy Photo)
Pour into a festive mug and garnish with whipped cream and cherries.
• 1 part Midori Melon Liqueur
• 2 parts Apple Cider
• 1 wedge of Lemon
• Apple for garnish
Fill the glass with ice and pour in Midori. Squeeze 1 wedge of lemon and drop in the glass. Add apple cider, stir gently, and garnish with an apple slice.
Bacardi Ocho Nieves:
• 2 parts Bacardi Gran Reserva Ocho Años
• 1/2 part Cacao Prieto
• 1/4 part Sorel Liqueur
• 1/4 part Maraschino Liqueur
• Brandy Cherry
Stir until very cold and pour into rocks glass. Garnish with brandy cherry.
