Southampton - Below are a few ideas from the talented crew of mixologists at William Grant & Sons - the spirits portfolio including favorites such as Glenfiddich, The Balvenie, Hendrick's, Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum, Milagro Tequila and many more.
Below are three ghoulish drink recipes that are sure to win over any cocktail enthusiast with a soft spot for this devilish holiday.
• Tequila: For an adult take on a classic childhood favorite, Milagro Tequila has come up with a clever way of turning a seemingly innocent "hot chocolate" into a richly decadent and boozy cocktail that can easily be pre-batched in a crock pot and served up to the masses during the festivities. The Oaxaca Chakas (slang for "cool" in Mexico) is made with rich Oaxaca Mexican chocolate and complements to our anejo's dark chocolate notes and smoky finish.
• Gin: A favorite of the mixologists at WGS, the Corpse Reviver #2011 will certainly awaken your senses with its potent brew. The few drops of
Absinthe add not only a distinct, earthly compliment to the cocktail - but it also allows you to plead insanity after a wild Halloween night.
