After a super successful inaugural Craft Beer Takeover, Indian Wells Tavern is hosting the second iteration on Friday, March 1.
“The Indian Wells Tavern had not been that busy on a Friday night since August,” Ryan Sherman of Indian Wells Tavern said about the Craft Beer Takeover launch last month. “The exclusive craft selections we chose flew out of the taps and sold out while people were surrounded by familiar company, great local food, and killer tunes from a local musician.”
Round two will boast Montauk Brewing Company’s brand new exclusive Coffee Cream Ale (5% ABV), as well as Sloop Brewing Company’s DDH Green Islands IPA (6.5% ABV), and Bell’s Brewing’s Hopslam IPA (10% ABV).
Montauk’s Coffee Cream Ale offers “subtle notes of coffee in this crisp and clean ale with light body.” Sloop Brewing Company’s DDH Green Islands IPA offers tropical, citrus-like notes. Bell’s Brewing’s Hopslam IPA is a “remarkably drinkable rendition of the Double India Pale Ale style.”
“We are thrilled to be a part of the second Craft Beer event at Indian Wells Tavern!” Vaughan Cutillo, Montauk Brewing Company Co-Founder, relayed. “The first installment was a great success.”
The Takeover will begin at 9:30 p.m. In addition to the trio of brews, the evening will feature complimentary bites from Bostwick’s Clambake Catering, and live music by local musicians.
“This night is about emphasizing real craft quality beer out on the East End and giving people something exciting to do when the busy season isn’t around,” Sherman noted. “We are excited to be featuring a brand new exclusive Montauk Brewing Company selection as well.”
Beers will be $6 and there is no cover.
