It’s time to cast your vote for the 89th Academy Awards because Rowdy Hall is once again hosting their annual “Rowdy & The Oscars” ballot contest.
Think you know who’s a sure thing between Arrival, Fences, Hacksaw Ridge, Hell or High Water, Hidden Figures, La La Land, Lion, Manchester by the Sea, and Moonlight for Best Picture? Do you have no doubt about whether Casey Affleck, Andrew Garfield, Ryan Gosling, Viggo Mortensen, or Denzel Washington will win Best Actor in a Leading Role, and whether Isabelle Huppert, Ruth Negga, Natalie Portman, Emma Stone, or Meryl Streep will take home Best Actress in a Leading Role?
Well, after you enjoy a delicious meal at the East Hampton-based eatery, your server will present you with your check, obviously, which will also contain a “Rowdy & The Oscars” ballot. Before you pay the bill, make sure to mark down your predictions for this year’s winners, and once you’re done, you may submit your ballot to either the host, manager, server or bartender.
“Rowdy Hall has been doing the Oscar Ballots since 2010, it has always been our way of staying connected with the movies and allows our customers the opportunity to check their knowledge before the actual awards show airs,” noted Michelle Moliski, General Manager of Rowdy Hall. “The winner gets a gift certificate for two plus two movie vouchers.”
The contestant who correctly selects the most Oscar winners will be awarded a $50 gift certificate and two movie vouchers, so they can stay up to date on next year’s contenders. If there happens to be a tie for the most correct answers, a drawing will be held.
“It’s a fun way for Rowdy to give back to our customers,” added Moliski.
The “Rowdy & The Oscars” contest culminates on Sunday, February 26th, the date of the Oscars.
Rowdy Hall is located at 10 Main Street in the Parrish Mews in East Hampton. For more information, call 631-324-8555 or visit www.rowdyhall.com.
