Turtle Crossing (221 Pantigo Rd., East Hampton, [631] 324-7166) is now offering full-catered themed kids parties complete with food, drink, music, entertainment and decorations. Turtle Crossing can arrange a cowboy or cowgirl BBQ for your next kiddie birthday party featuring your choice of entertainment face painting, magic, bouncy fun houses and castles, pony rides and more. Fresno (8 Fresno Place, East Hampton, NY [631] 324-8700) has announced a new summer menu. Fresno now offers al fresco dining on their patio and remains open seven days a week for dinner from 5:30 pm. New menu items include - Crispy Fried Calamari with Two Sauces, Jumbo Lump Crab Cake with celery root salad and Dijon vinaigrette, Thai Duck Salad with Asian greens, mango, wonton crisps and chili-mint vinaigrette, Grilled Atlantic Salmon with French lentils, crisp green beans and creamy leeks, Garganelli Pasta with shrimp and sweet red pepper cream, Capellini with local littleneck clams, andouille sausage and white clam sauce, Grilled Pork Tenderloin with chipotle-tamarind BBQ sauce, black beans and roasted sweet potato, Grilled Angus Sirloin with pommes frites, watercress, tomato and green peppercorn sauce.

La Fondita (74 Montauk Hwy., Amagansett [631] 267-8800) is now serving Sunday Brunch items beginning at 10:30 every Sunday. Tasty Mexican brunch items on the menu include: huevos con chorizo; huevos a la Mexicana (with tomatoes and jalapenos); and Panbazo (a griddled sandwich of chorizo, potatoes, refried beans and crema). They will also offer three blended fruit drinks: malteada de fresa (strawberry and milk); malteada de platano (banana and milk) and atole de vanilla (a warm beverage made with corn meal, milk and vanilla). La Fondita is now open seven days a week from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday. East by Northeast (51 South Edgemere, Montauk, [631] 668-2872) has announced their new executive chef Doron Wong. Wong¹s culinary experience spans both national and international. He graduated with a degree in Culinary Arts from Newbury College in MA. The early years of his career found him at top restaurants such as Maison Robert in Boston, Park Avenue Café in New York and Clio Restaurant in Boston, awarded 4 stars from the Boston Globe. Wong then embarked on a five-month culinary trip to Hong Kong. After absorbing the tastes and spices of Asia, he landed a sous chef position at Star¹s of San Francisco in Singapore. After a short stint here, Wong became chef de cuisine at House of Mao II, also in Singapore. In 1999, he headed back to the states and worked with Chef Vincent Barcelona on the opening of Seven Restaurant and Bar in New York.

After two years, Wong took a break from the high-speed kitchen and worked with the Smith & Wollensky Restaurant Group on developing a cookbook with chef David Burke. In 2002, he took a position at the famed Plaza Hotel in New York. In 2003, Wong went international again, without leaving the states, at the United Nations Delegates dining room. While working for the UN, he cooked for various heads of state and turned out cuisine for events up to 500 people. Wong¹s last position before coming to the Hamptons, was at Ginger and Spice, a modern Asian restaurant in Ramsey, NJ, where he was the executive chef. Wong is now heading the kitchen at East by Northeast in Montauk, integrating his international culinary experience into the bold and flavorful menu focusing on pan-Asian dishes. The Lakeside Bar & Grill (183 Edgemere Street, Montauk, NY [631] 668-3455) is hosting a 4th of July "Freedom Fest" all weekend from Friday to Monday. Each afternoon Saturday through Monday The Lakeside will feature their popular "Afternoon Delight" special with 2 for 1 red, white, and blue specialty frozen drinks and live music on the 3,000 sq. ft. deck in celebration of the America¹s Independence Day.
Revelers will also enjoy red stripe specials all day along with a full clam bar menu served daily from noon to 10pm. The nightclub will be open Friday through Sunday from 9pm to 4am with acclaimed New York City DJ Matt Tibetts spinning Saturday and Sunday night. Breakwater Café at the Montauk Manor (236 Edgemere Street, Montauk, NY [631] 668-3949) has announced three new menu items jumbo shrimp cocktail accented with mango cocktail sauce for $11; Bay Scallop and Pancetta Orzo for $21; and Steamed Local Lobsters for $29. Breakwater Café is open for brunch from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm and dinner from 5-10 p.m. seven days a week along with offering a special $25 p/person prix fixe from 5 until 6:30pm every evening. Now that the weather has warmed up, guests may chose to dine outside on their outdoor patio overlooking a brand new herb garden. In addition, the restaurant has a nightly happy hour incentive with two-for-one drinks at the bar from 5 to 6

Collage (22 Wall Street, Huntington, NY [631] 427-5256) continues their new weekly wine series on Wednesday, July 6th with Peconic Bay Winery, of Cutchogue, NY. A representative from Peconic Bay will be on hand at Collage to discuss their wines and pour complimentary tastings of select wines from 6:30pm 8:30pm accompanied by the soulful jazz stylings of the Ecco-Jazz Duet. Collage will offer customers discounts on select Peconic Bay wines from Wednesday to the following Tuesday. There will also be a special menu pairing Chef Guiffrida¹s "Vision of Fusion" with the selected wines available for $45 per person.
