Townline BBQ (3593 Townline Road, Sagaponack, 631-537-2271 (BBQ1), www.townlinebbq.com) will offer some great specials at the bar during the big game on Superbowl Sunday, February 7. Snack specials include 10 cent wings (minimum order 10); buffalo fries - French fries tossed in wing sauce served with
blue cheese dressing $3.25; 50 cent fried mac and cheese bites (minimum order 8); 50 cent jalapeno poppers and free popcorn and peanuts. Beer specials include $5 pitchers of Coors draft and bucket of four Pabst Blue Ribbon long necks $10.

Rowdy Hall
Rowdy Hall (10 Main Street in the Parrish Mews, East Hampton, 631-324-8555) has announced the schedule for the book club, Rowdy Readers for January through March. Rowdy Readers meets every Tuesday at 12:15 p.m. at Rowdy Hall. The readers club will be in conjunction with Bookhampton, offering each week's selection for a 15 percent discount. The book topic for this session will be European and American authors and 19th century writers such as Chekov, du Maupassant, Henry James, Balzac, Hawthorne, Melville, Eliot, Wharton, Joyce and more. The group will feature an hour discussion on the author and the writing. Lunch will be available for purchase during the readers group. The schedule is as follows:

• February 16 - George Eliot (1819-1880) "Janet's Repentance" (From Scenes of Clerical Life")

Stonewalls Restaurant
Stonewalls Restaurant (967 Reeves Avenue, Riverhead, 631-506-0777, ext. 4 www.stonewalls-restaurant.com) will host a "Chef's Table" series every Friday until February 5 and Thursday, February 11. The dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. with an amuse bouche followed by dinner at 7 p.m. in the Grill Room. The restaurant will be closed Monday through Wednesday and open Thursday through Sunday until Valentine's Day on Sunday, February 14. Lunch will be available from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. Dinner will be offered from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Thursday, until 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and until 8 p.m. on Sunday. Sunday brunch will also be offered from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The restaurant will be closed from Monday, February 15 through Thursday, March 18 for winter vacation.
Fresno Restaurant
Fresno Restaurant (8 Fresno Place, East Hampton, 631-324-8700, www.fresnorestaurant.com) is open for dinner through the winter months, and offers a prix fixe every Wednesday. The $30 three-course meal includes selections from the regular menu with every bottle of wine at 30 percent off. Nightly, there are $26 (two-course) and $29 (three-course) prix fixes except on Saturday when it is available only until 6:30 p.m. or all night at the bar.
