Wednesday - Ladies Niht - $3 Drafts, Wine and Champagne Specials, Party with DJ Raj at 9:30 p.m. Friday - All Night Happy Hour - Taproom Specials from 4 p.m. to 12 midnight, Local Legend DJ Dory, 10 p.m. Saturday - ESPN Gameplan - College Gridiron Action in the Taproom at 2 p.m. Saturday - Entertainment in the Taproom at 10 p.m. Saturday, December 5 - Ron Price Band, Saturday, December 12 - Project Vibe, Saturday, December 19 - DJ Brian Evans, Saturday, December 26 - DJ Dory. Rowdy Hall
Rowdy Hall (the Parrish Mews, East Hampton, 631-324-8555) has announced the return of their book club, Rowdy Readers for the 2009/2010 winter season. Rowdy Readers meets every Tuesday at 12:15 p.m. at Rowdy Hall. The readers club will be in conjunction with BookHampton, offering each week's selection for a 15 percent discount. The book topic for this session will be European and American authors and 19th century writers such as Chekov, du Maupassant, Henry James, Balzac, Hawthorne, Melville, Eliot, Wharton, Joyce and more. The group will feature an hour discussion on the author and the writing. Lunch will be available for purchase during the readers group. Current hours are seven days a week serving lunch from 12 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., mid-day menu from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.; dinner Sunday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. The schedule for December is as follows:

 • December 8 - du Maupassant (1850 – 1893) "The Necklace"
 • December 15 – Henry James (1843 – 1916) "A Bundle of Letters"
 • December 22 – Chekov (TBA)
 • December 29 – Balzac (1799 – 1850) "At the Sign of the Cat" and "Racquet" (from "Scenes from Private Life")

Harbor Bistro
Chef Damien O'Donnell of Harbor Bistro (313 Three Mile Harbor Road, East Hampton, 631-324-7300, www.harborbistro.net), a catering veteran and protégé of Roy Yamaguchi, offers catering services throughout the holiday and winter season. Available for any off-premise event, O'Donnell and his staff may provide full-service sit-down or buffet dinners from six to 150 guests starting at $75 per person. Menu requests are accepted. Rugosa Restaurant
Rugosa Restaurant (290 Montauk Highway, East Hampton, 631-604-1550, www.rugosarestaurant.com) is open Sunday through Thursday from 5:30 to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Rugosa is introducing a $30 plus tax three-course prix fixe dinner, and "Industry Night" is available every Monday. Industry employees will receive 15 percent off the entire check when they present their pay-stub.

Almond Restaurant
Almond, 1970 Montauk Highway, Bridgehampton, 631-537-8885) is now offering a three-course prix fixe for $24.95 all night on Mondays and Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. The menu changes weekly. The restaurant has also announced a new bar special for Thursday nights - Burger & Beer at the Bar. The $16 special, only available at the bar, includes a hamburger or turkey burger deluxe, shrimp cocktail and a draft beer. The special is available all night long on Thursdays. Almond is now open Thursday through Tuesday, closed on Wednesday.
