Abe's Market - An All-Natural Market Available On Line
The growing population of consumers who care about what's in their products and how they are made, now has an online destination to find fantastic natural products and meet the people who create them, Abe's Market (www.abesmarket.com). The site enables customers to learn about the ingredients, the processes and the stories behind the products that are on the cusp of being household names, much like the traditional farmers market, but with all the modern conveniences of a 24 hour, easy-to-use website. "Consumers are looking to understand what's in their goods and to know who makes them, and want to know the story behind the product" says Richard Demb, co-founder of Abe's Market. Other features of the site include checkout from all sellers streamlined into one single checkout process, trackable shipping via UPS, product recommendations, and web seminars given by leaders in the natural products industries. "We see tremendous consumer demand online for natural products but no compelling online marketplace to satisfy this demand across multiple product categories," says Co-Founder Jon Polin. "With the launch of Abe's Market, we hope to satisfy that demand." Abe's Market is launching with four initial product categories - personal care, kids and baby, home, and food and beverage - and will expand into new categories shortly after launch.

The Four Seasons Restaurant will host Copland Gala.

Chef Fabio Trabocchi Debuts At Four Seasons With Copland House Gala
The new maestro of the kitchen at The Four Seasons restaurant, Chef Fabio Trabocchi, is about to make some beautiful music and food, with Copland House as it gears up for the fourth in its stunning, one-night-only culinary and musical collaborations featuring world-class chefs in New York. On Sunday evening, October 18 at 5 p.m., Copland House and The Four Seasons celebrate the vibrant city where the iconic composer Aaron Copland was born, with "New York at Night." Chef Trabocchi will dazzle patrons with a specially-created, four-course culinary feast inspired by the artistic magic of past and present master composers, including Leonard Bernstein, George Gershwin, Duke Ellington, John Musto, and Derek Bermel - all dazzlingly served by the acclaimed Music from Copland House ensemble and guests, including the soprano Amy Burton and vocalist Darius DeHaas. Copland House's previous galas were all sold-out and teamed America's leading composers with celebrated master chefs: Daniel Boulud and Richard Danielpour for Troubadours Feast at Daniel, Eric Ripert and Ned Rorem, William Bolcom, and others for Paris After Dark at Le Bernardin, and Lidia Bastianich and Aaron Jay Kernis for Optimism at the Table Historic Landmarek at Del Posto. Copland House is a unique creative center for American music. A National Historic Landmark and an Official Project of the White House Save America's Treasures program, Copland's restored, longtime lower Hudson Valley residence is the only composer's home in the U.S. devoted to nurturing and renewing America's rich musical heritage through a broad range of musical, educational, public, informational, and electronic-media activities. Copland House recently expanded and is taking over the Merestead estate - a 26 room mansion on 130 acres in Bedford, New York, to expand its activities with public programs and collaborative residencies. "New York at Night" is on Sunday, October 18 at 5 p.m. at The Four Seasons restaurant, 99 East 52 Street, New York City, and will include a wide-ranging silent auction, offering intimate house concerts, fine artwork and guided art tours, yachting excursions, jewelry, sporting and musical event tickets, golf outings, and much more. The Gala Chairs are O. Anthony Maddalena and Katherine Petitti Kornel and Ezriel Kornel. Gala Underwriters are Carol and Robert Morris and Teri and James Babcock. Tickets start at $500 ($375 tax-deductible), and sponsorships begin at $1,250 for two ($1,000 tax-deductible). For additional information, visit www.coplandhousegala.org or www.coplandhouse.org, call Copland House at 914-788-4659, or e-mail office@coplandhouse.org.
