Serenity At Coopers Beach Presents Lobster Bakes And Family Fun All Summer Long
Dinner meets the Atlantic Ocean at Southampton's only oceanfront dining destination, located on the number one beach on the east coast. Each Friday and Saturday through September, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., beachgoers are invited for an early evening, four-course, lobster bake prix fixe - a culinary seafood experience, featuring some of the Hamptons most amazing seafood and farm-fresh selections. Beginning with a soup du jour (this week it's a delectable clam chowder), and a mesclun green salad, the entrée comes complete with a one pound, four ounce, succulent lobster, Serenity Corn on the Cob (irresistible local grilled corn, rolled in cotija cheese), and loaded baked potatoes, all reasonably priced at $26.50 per person. Melt-in-your-mouth desserts, like the homemade lemon meringue pie and cheesecake with local strawberries complete the evening!

On Saturdays, Family Night at Serenity, a special children's prix fixe menu including the café's popular chicken tenders, mini-burgers, and fish fritters is priced at $14.50 and the four-course lobster bake prix fixe is available to seniors for only $19.50. Also, because Saturdays are Family Night, a different themed event with fun activities for the entire family will be featured each week. This Saturday is game night and on Aug. 22, award-winning clown Susan M. "Tulip" Wald, of the Waldo Tribune, will be on hand for face painting and balloon animals. Then on Saturday, Aug. 29, there will be a Family Field Day competition with fun games for everyone. Come down to Serenity at Coopers Beach or e-mail fieldday@hytme.com to sign up now for the upcoming Family Field Day! As always, after 5 p.m., parking is free at Coopers Beach, making all activities accessible to everyone. To view the calendar for upcoming Family Night events, visit SerenityatCoopersBeach.com.
