The Laundry Welcomes Two New General Managers/Wine Manager To The Fold
This summer The Laundry restaurant in East Hampton will be welcoming two new General Managers, dashing rumors of the eatery losing its lease. According to its operators, The Laundry is ready for the season and here to stay. Doubling as the new Wine Manager. Hugo Moreno, who was previously the Food and Beverage Manager at the Venetian in Las Vegas, will be filling the role of General Manager and "wine guru" along with Chris Banks, who is in for the summer from Napa Valley to also manage the restaurant as well as revamp The Laundry's cocktail list. Continuing on as Executive Chef will be Andrew Engle who has been working on a new summer menu featuring fresh local ingredients that will be ready shortly and pleasing restaurant goers after Memorial Day. Memorial Day Specials At Harbor Bistro
Harbor Bistro celebrates Memorial Day Weekend and the start of summer on Thursday, May 21 through Monday, May 25. The extensive "Before the Sunset" $29 prix fixe and $19 prix fixe with Chef's daily selections will be offered all-night Thursday and Monday from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The restaurant will also open from 12 noon to 3 p.m. Sunday and Monday serving brunch specials in addition to prix fixe menus. The three-course $19 menu includes plentiful portions with a choice of soup or salad for an appetizer, choice of pasta, fish or meat entrée, and one dessert. Weekend Schedule At Turtle Crossing
Turtle Crossing will offer the following schedule for Memorial Day Weekend. Dinner will be served Thursday through Monday with lunch on Saturday, Sunday and with a special menu for the holiday on Monday, Memorial Day. Live music from Mama Lee & Friends will be on Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A special of 2 for 1 draft beers will be offered during happy hour on Fridays. OSO Restaurant Continues Their "Dinner and…" Series Friday
OSO Restaurant at Southampton Inn continues its successful "Dinner and…" series on Friday, May 22 at 7 p.m. with a special presentation guaranteed to help you laugh at bailouts, chuckle at the absurdity of Madoff, forget for a moment your dwindling IRA while savoring an elegant three-course dinner prepared by acclaimed Executive Chef Bryan Naylor and enjoying the witty song stylings of singer Andrea Axelrod and singer/musician Alan Siegal. Citarella Opens In Bridgehampton

Bay Burger Jams Continue
Bay Burger Restaurant in Sag Harbor will continue "The Jam Session" - a creative playground for musicians. Come practice your craft before a live audience. This is an all inclusive event. Rowdy Hall's new book club, Rowdy Readers, meets every Tuesday at 12:15 p.m. at Rowdy Hall. The readers club will be in conjunction with Bookhampton, offering each week's selection for a 15 percent discount. The focus will be on turn of the century American writers and their short stories, keeping with the spirit of the original Rowdy Hall, which housed turn of the century writers.
