This Month Nick & Toni's Celebrates Italy With A Special Regional Menu From Trentino
Nick & Toni's (136 North Main Street, East Hampton, 631-324-3550) is celebrating the Trentino region of Italy this month with a new four course menu for $38 per person. The menu will be offered beginning Wednesday, April 8 through Sunday, April 19 on the following nights - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday all night and Saturday until 7 p.m. The menu consists of items like Affettato alla Trentino con Mostarda di Mela Sliced Speck, Asiago, Apple Compote Insalate di Barbabietola con Cippolla al Balsamico, Bacon and Cabbage Ravioli with Poppy Seeds and a choice of Salsiccia di Cinghiale con Spatzle, Wild Boar Sausage with Herbed Dumplings or Grilled Pork Loin, Apple-Yogurt Salad for the main course. It's Almost Here! Hamptons Restaurant Week Starts March 29
Prepare yourselves for the Seventh Annual "Hamptons Restaurant Week," scheduled for the last week of March from Sunday, March 29 through Sunday, April 5. During this eight-day promotion, all participating restaurants will offer a three-course prix fixe for $24.95 all night, except Saturday when it will only be offered until 7 p.m. Each restaurant offers their own unique menu selections and some restaurants will offer a special discounted bottle of Long Island wine. Dinner And . . . Continues At Oso With Two Events
OSO Restaurant at Southampton Inn continues its popular "Dinner and . . ." series featuring sparkling conversation with Hamptons luminaries with noted author, scholar and lecturer
Rabbi Sheldon Zimmerman of the Jewish Center of The Hamptons on March 26. The evening begins with light hors d'oeuvres and an elegant three-course gourmet dinner. Followed by a talk by the famed Rabbi with an open discussion after. The evening runs from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
The same night, there will be a very special event hosted by Southampton Town Democratic Committee Chairman
Gordon Herr and the Southampton Town Democratic Committee "Dinner and a Movie" on March 26 held in the Grand Ballroom of the Southampton Inn. The first in a series of great movies, the evening will feature a special screening of
Phil Donahue and
Ellen Spiro's riveting documentary "Body of War" followed by a three-course gourmet dinner prepared by acclaimed Executive Chef

Dockers Waterside Restaurant Reopens For The Season
On Friday, March 27, Dockers Waterside will reopen with a special night two days in advance of Hamptons Restaurant Week. The restaurant will feature an Opening Night Special, a three-course dinner for $24.95 as well as a $20 premium wine bottle special. After opening night on March 27, Dockers will feature the $24.95 three-course dinner special all night long during Restaurant Week (including both Saturdays!). Reservations are highly suggested and the heated veranda will be open for extra seating.

Hamptons Coffee Roastmaster Accepted Into Roasters Guild
Hampton Coffee Company's Coffee Roastmaster, Dwight Amade, has been accepted into the national Roasters Guild. The Roasters Guild is the prestigious trade organization of the Specialty Coffee Association of America consisting of specialty roasters dedicated to the craft of roasting quality coffee. It takes years of roasting experience and training to become a true "Roastmaster" and Dwight has been perfecting his craft at Hampton Coffee Company for five years now. Dwight, along with Hampton Coffee Company co-owners Jason and Theresa Belkin will be heading to Atlanta, GA, in two weeks to participate in the yearly international coffee convention. The company was selected to serve their signature Hampton Classic Blend coffee to close to 10,000 attendees who come from all around the world. Be sure to stop in for a taste of their renowned coffee blend as well as their muffins, croissants, scones, cinnamon rolls, and cookies all freshly-baked each morning on the premises or their a complete lunch menu featuring homemade soups, fresh salads, and made-to-order sandwiches and Panini.
Readers Club At Rowdy Hall Continues
Rowdy Hall (10 Main Street in the Parrish Mews, East Hampton, 631-324-8555) has announced the start of a new book club, Rowdy Readers, that will meet every Tuesday, for 12 weeks, at 12:15 p.m. at Rowdy Hall beginning Tuesday, March 24. The readers club will be in conjunction with Bookhampton, offering each week's selection for a 15 percent discount. The focus will be on turn of the century American writers and their short stories, keeping with the spirit of the original Rowdy Hall, which housed turn-of-the-century writers.
