Celebrate Italy At Nick & Toni's With A Special Regional Menu From Piemonte
Nick & Toni's (136 N. Main Street, East Hampton, 631-324-3550, www.nickandtonis.com) is celebrating the Piemonte region of Italy this month with a new four course menu for $38 per person. The menu will be offered beginning Wednesday, Feb. 25 through Sunday, March 8 on the following nights: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday all night and Saturday until 7 p.m.
Warm Up With Handmade Mozzarella At Tutto Italiano
Tutto Italiano (74 Montauk Highway, East Hampton, 631-324-9500) offers their handmade mozzarella to keep you warm and your stomach full.
Chef Pasquale Langella will demonstrate the technique for making it and will serve handmade warm mozzarella in-store every weekend this winter on Saturdays and Sundays at 1 p.m. Demonstrations are free.
Get Rowdy For The Oscars
Rowdy Hall (10 Main Street in the Parrish Mews, East Hampton, 631-324-8555, www.rowdyhall.com) has launched their annual "Rowdy & The Oscars" ballot contest. In each check presented, customers will find an "Oscar Ballot" form. If they choose to participate, all they have to do is fill out the ballot and present it to the host, manager, server or bartender. Whoever has the most correct answers is the winner and will receive dinner for two and two movie vouchers. The contest ends Sunday, Feb. 22, the date of the Oscars. Dockside Bar And Grill Reopened For Business
As of Feb. 12, the Dockside Bar and Grill (26 Bay Street, Sag Harbor, 631-725-7100) on Bay Street in Sag Harbor has reopened its doors for the season. Currently open Thursday through Monday, Dockside is serving lunch and dinner with a special brunch menu on Saturdays and Sundays. Call for reservations.
Rare Wine Tasting At Bedell Cellars
Bedell Cellars (36225 Main Road, Cutchogue, 631-734-7537, www.bedellcellars.com) will host a very rare library wine tasting on Friday, Feb. 20 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. The tasting will feature a very exclusive and remarkable tasting of past vintages of Bedell Cellars wines including nine red wines from the 1993, 1994 and 1995 vintages, consisting of Cabernet Sauvignon, Reserve Merlot and Cupola bottlings. The evening will open with a champagne reception and feature commentary by
Kip Bedell, winemaker emeritus of Bedell Cellars, and continue for approximately 90 minutes. The wines tasted will be available for sale that evening only and are extremely limited. Discussion and questions are encouraged. Admission to the tasting is by reservation only, and will be limited to 30 people. Admission is $25, free for Wine club members.
