Free Coffee Tasting Event At Hampton Coffee Company
Hampton Coffee Company (869 Montauk Highway, Water Mill, 631-726-COFE) invites coffee connoisseurs and everyone interested to a very special free coffee tasting event on Saturday, June 21, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Hampton Coffee Company's Coffee Roastery on Montauk Highway in Water Mill.
Hampton Coffee Company's Roastmaster will be sampling their hand-roasted Fair Trade Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee from a just-arrived barrel of beans from the Penlyne Castle Growers' Cooperative in St. Thomas Parish, Jamaica. Blue Mountain is regarded as the world's best coffee. Full-bodied, it has a clean taste, noticeable sweetness, mild flavor, moderate acidity, and lack of bitterness. Real 100 percent Blue Mountain coffee is strictly regulated by the Jamaican government and sells for upwards of $40/pound. This is the perfect opportunity for one to see for themselves what makes this variety of coffee so special.
In addition to the free tasting of the Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee, expertly prepared by real Baristas and brewed in Bodum French Presses, the casual event will feature live coffee roasting demonstrations; free Caribbean-inspired hors d'oeuvres; a free coffee-making gift from Bodum; a sample of Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee to bring home; Caribbean music; and tips on buying the best quality of coffee for your money and how to brew the perfect cup of Joe at home. Bottled Homemade Salsas At La Fondita
La Fondita (74 Montauk Highway, Amagansett, 631-267-8800) is now selling their homemade salsas. The salsas can be purchased at La Fondita for $5 a bottle and come in four different flavors. La Fondita is now open seven days a week. They will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Celebrate Italy At Nick & Toni's With A Special Regional Menu - Last Chance For Pizzas
Nick & Toni's (136 N. Main Street, East Hampton, 631-324-3550) will be offering their pizza menu and also three course regional prix fixe menu every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday starting at 6 p.m. The cost of the prix fixe is $38 per person and includes a glass of wine from the celebrated region with the appetizer. The region for this month will be Sardegna. Both menus will be available until June 18. Nick & Toni's is open Wednesday through Sunday starting at 6 p.m.
Week Night Bar Special At Matto
Matto (109 North Main Street, East Hampton, 631-329-0200) will be offering a complimentary amuse bouche with cocktails ordered at the bar on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights starting at 5 p.m. As well as a special pizza menu that is offered at the bar. Matto is open seven days a week - Monday through Friday starting at 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday starting at 12 noon. Take-out is available.
Kids Lunch Special At Sunset Café
Sunset Café (49 Sunset Avenue, Westhampton Beach, 631-288-3010) offers a children's lunch special every day from 7 a.m. to closing. Choose from macaroni and cheese, peanut butter and jelly, or grilled cheese all served with a rainbow cookie. The cost of the lunch special is $3.75. Sunset Café also has a children's corner filled with puzzles, and games to keep the kids happy and occupied. The Café is open seven days a week. Monday through Thursday they are open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
NEW: Wine Bar At The Sunset Cafe
Sunset Café (49 Sunset Avenue, Westhampton Beach, 631-288-3010) is now offering a wine and martini bar complete with a tapas menu. The bar will be available Friday and Saturday nights from 6 p.m. to closing.
Live Music And Mini-Burgers At The Surf Shack
Surf Shack (2095 Montauk Highway, Amagansett, 631-267-6980) will be having live music on Saturday, June 14 with the Big Beat, starting at 7 p.m. There is no cover for this performance. The Surf Shack will be offering complimentary mini-burgers at the bar seven days a week from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. until the end of June. The Surf Shack will serve lunch and dinner daily with the bar open until closing.
Father's Day At Magic's Pub
Magic's Pub (113 Main Street, Westhampton Beach, 631-288-6105) will be giving all dads one complimentary beer with any entrée on Father's Day, June 15. They will also be offering their a la carte brunch menu from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The brunch menu includes a complimentary soda, juice, iced tea, coffee, tea, hot chocolate or mimosa included with each entrée at the table. Magic's Pub is open daily year-round, serving lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., dinner from 5 p.m. to midnight and brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
