Special kids lunch on the menu at Magic's Pub and Sunset Cafe. Harbor Bistro opens for a third season. Tierra Mar serves a Slow Food Spring market dinner featuring all local fare.

New Kids Menu At Magic's Pub

Magic's Pub (113 Main Street, Westhampton Beach, 631-288-6105) is now offering a new kids menu for children 12 and under. The new menu is available seven days a week for lunch and dinner. Magic's Pub is open daily year-round, serving lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dinner from 5 p.m. to midnight and Brunch Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Kids Lunch Special At Sunset Café

Sunset Café (49 Sunset Avenue, Westhampton Beach, 631-288-3010) offers a children's lunch special everyday from 7 a.m. to closing. Choose from macaroni and cheese, peanut butter and jelly, or grilled cheese all served with a rainbow cookie. The cost of the lunch special is $3.75. Sunset Café also has a children's corner filled with puzzles, and games to keep the kids happy and occupied. The Café is open seven days a week. Monday through Thursday they are open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Wine & Cheese Pairing At Corey Creek Vineyards

Corey Creek Vineyards (Main Road, Southold) hosts a wine and cheese pairing, the last Saturday of each month. On Saturday, April 26, they will be pairing their award-winning wines with an assortment of artisanal cheeses. The cost is $15 per person and complimentary for wine club members. Reservations are required; please RSVP for the pairing on, April 26, by Thursday, April 24.

Harbor Bistro Opens For A Third Season

Marking its third season, Harbor Bistro (313 Three Mile Harbor Road, East Hampton, 631-324-7300) will open on Thursday, May 1 at 5 p.m. Opened in 2006, the waterfront restaurant is a joint venture for East Hampton natives Patrick and Ann Glennon, their daughter Nicole O'Donnell and her husband Executive Chef Damien O'Donnell.

O'Donnell will introduce a new menu this season. Appetizers range from $8 to $16 and include toasted corn and jumbo lump crabcake in a savory remoulade; Mongolian BBQ baby back ribs; and island-ahi tuna poke with avocado, tomatoes, macadamia nuts and truffle-soy. Salads range from $8 to $14 and feature Harbor Bistro's signature Fuji apple and bleu cheese salad with Bibb mix, bacon, dried berries and candied pecans. Entrées, ranging in price from $23 to $38, include pistachio crusted tilapia with crispy risotto cake and Tahitian vanilla lobster butter; shichimi shrimp linguine with asparagus tips, shiitake mushrooms, pancetta and a lemon soy; herb roasted lamb rack with a ratatouille puff pastry tart and arugula-chèvre salad; and shellfish Bouillabaisse with half-lobster tail, shrimp, sea scallops, mussels and clams. Desserts range from $6 to $9 and include molten chocolate tower with raspberry sauce and vanilla bean ice cream; warm peach and almond cake with vanilla ice cream, raspberries, and caramel; and profiteroles covered in chocolate sauce.

Harbor Bistro Offers A "Before the Sunset" three-course prix fixe for $29 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. and complimentary bar appetizers every night from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. In-season, the restaurant serves dinner from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and until 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Tierra Mar Serves A Slow Food Spring Market Dinner Featuring All Local Fare

Edible East End, The East End Convivium of Slow Food and Todd Jacobs of Tierra Mar (231 Dune Road, Westhampton Beach, 631-288-2700) are serving a slow food spring market dinner featuring all local fare and brews from Blue Point Brewery on Sunday, May 4 at 5 p.m. The cost of the dinner is $60 for members and $70 for non-members plus tax and gratuity. Reservations are required.
