New Almoncello Now Open!
Almoncello Restaurant, (290 Montauk Hwy., East Hampton, 631-329- 6700), a Northern Italian trattoria is now open serving dinner Wednesday-Monday starting at 6 p.m. and closed on Tuesdays. Almoncello offers a relaxed, cozy atmosphere, featuring leather booths and a fireplace in the bar area, dark wood floors, and crisp white tablecloths. The menu features seasonally driven Bolognese-inspired cuisine. Sample menu items include salumi with sliced cured meats and house-spun mozzarella; scallop carpaccio with pomegranate, grapefruit granita, crispy leeks and artisinal olive oil; and whole roasted branzino with baby root vegetables and roasted pepper aceto dulce. Almoncello also has Karaoke every Saturday night starting at 10:30 p.m.
Legends Adds New Lunch Items
Chef Michael Reilly of Legends Restaurant, (835 First Street, New Suffolk, 631-734-5123, www.legends-restaurant.com), introduces new lunch menu items to its creative New American cuisine. New items include Roast Salmon with Baby Greens, Rice Medley and an Asparagus, Mushroom and Panko Crust $15, Seafood and Sausage Paella with Shrimp, Mussels, Clams, Fish, Chorizo Sausage, Peas, Onions, Garlic and Tomato served in a skillet, $15, and Legendary Pot Pie with Shrimp, Scallops, Crawfish, Tuna and Grouper sautéed with Garlic and combined with a Sherry-scented Lobster Sauce topped with Puff Pastry, $16. The restaurant is open seven days beginning at 12 noon.
Winter Prix Fixes At Fresno
Fresno, (8 Fresno Place, East Hampton, 631-324-8700, www.fresnorestaurant.com), offers two nightly dinner specials throughout the winter season starting at 5:30 p.m. six nights a week, closing Tuesday.
The favorite $28 Cannonball Prix Fixe - three-courses including appetizer, entrée and dessert – is available in the dining room Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday all night. On Friday and Saturday, it's available until 6:30 p.m. Every night it's available at the bar - all night long.
On Monday nights, a 30/30 special is also available. A $30 three-course prix fixe includes selections from the regular menu. Every bottle of wine is also 30 percent off.
MUSE Restaurant & Aquatic Lounge Presents Sunday Brunch
MUSE Restaurant & Aquatic Lounge, (760 Montauk Highway, Water Mill Shopping Center, Suite 5A, Water Mill, 631-726-2606), now offers Sunday Brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A complimentary glass of champagne, mimosa or Bloody Mary is served with each meal. The restaurant is also open for dinner Thursday through Sunday.
