Sixth Annual Hamptons Restaurant Week - Sunday, Mar. 30 to Sunday, Apr. 6

Participants are now signing up for The Sixth Annual "Hamptons Restaurant Week," slated for the last week of March; Sunday, Mar. 30 through Sunday, Apr. 6. The first five "Hamptons Restaurant Week " events have elicited an extremely positive response from diners, restaurateurs and local businesses. Organized by WordHampton Public Relations, an East End-based food and beverage PR firm, this "joint regional marketing campaign" was designed to garner positive publicity and create a surge in business in an otherwise quiet time of year.

The idea is simple - for eight days, Sunday to Sunday, all participating restaurants offer a three-course prix fixe for $21.95 all night except Saturday when it will only be offered from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Each restaurant will offer a unique three-course menu and some restaurants will also offer special $21.95 bottles of local Long Island wine from participating vineyards. "Hamptons Restaurant Week" is not only a restaurant campaign but includes local wineries, lodging, transportation, retail and other outlets. In addition to offering discounted bottles of wines in restaurants, some vineyards will offer those same wines at a discounted price in their tasting rooms. Non-restaurant participants will offer any discount on a product or service that they feel is appropriate.

If your business would like to participate in The Sixth Annual "Hamptons Restaurant Week" please log onto www.hamptonsrestaurantweek.com and click the Business Sign Up icon. To ensure your business is included in this year's complete promotional campaign, sign up by Feb. 18. There is a $250 participation fee for each business and each category. For further information, contact the Hamptons Restaurant Week Executive Committee at WordHampton Public Relations at 631-727-6204 or 631-727-2870.
