Ed’s Lobster Bar is coming to the Hamptons. The popular SoHo seafood spot, which is known for its lobster rolls, fish plates and raw bar bites, will open a second outpost this summer. Scheduled to debut Memorial Day weekend, the new Sag Harbor location will be dubbed Ed’s Lobster Bar East.
“After twelve years great years in New York City and many hopeful requests from my customers to open a shore-based location, I’m thrilled to announce the opening of Ed’s Lobster Bar East in Sag Harbor,” Edward McFarland, chef and owner of Ed’s Lobster Bar, explained.
The East End eatery will boast beloved options from the restaurant’s SoHo location, such as lobster rolls, lobster meatballs and New England clam chowder. There will also be items created exclusively for Ed’s Lobster Bar East. Those will include fish sandwiches, lobster pizza and baskets of fried scallops and shrimps.
Breakfast and brunch will be available on Saturdays and Sundays.
The 1,400-square-foot space will embrace a New England Coastal style with an open kitchen layout. The restaurant’s inspiration is a traditional seaside fish house.
Ed’s Lobster Bar East will be open seven days per week from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend and limited hours during the off-season.
Ed’s Lobster Bar East is located at 1742 Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike in Sag Harbor. For more information, visit www.lobsterbarnyc.com.
