Out of the Question, a Hamptons conversation salon series at Southampton Arts Center, will tackle the Hamptons restaurant scene during Restaurants: Where's the Fork in the Road? on Thursday, July 13.

Moderator Warren Strugatch will welcome Eric Lemonides, co-owner of Almond Restaurant in Bridgehampton and Manhattan; Mark Smith, a co-owner of Honest Management, which includes Nick & Toni's in East Hampton, La Fondita in Amagansett and Rowdy Hall in East Hampton; David Loewenberg, who owns Bell & Anchor in Sag Harbor, the Beacon in Sag Harbor and Fresno in East Hampton; and Guy Reuge, chef/founder of Mirabelle in Stony Brook, Mirabelle Tavern in Stony Brook and Le Vin in Lake Grove; for a lively conversation - where audience participation is highly encouraged - about the local restaurant world.

"I'm delighted to being appearing with my friends and peers," shared Smith.

As we all know, scoring a restaurant at a Hamptons hotspot during the summer season can be quite challenging. These four restaurateurs will share insight about Hamptons trends, what's up and coming, and more. "Dining out is a competitive sport in the Hamptons, and our restaurant show is among our most popular shows every season," explained Strugatch. "People go to their restaurants and love the opportunity to talk with them about what goes on behind the scenes."

"I look forward to a lively discussion - Warren always tries to stir the pot," added Lemonides.

Out of the Question will begin at 7 p.m. and a reception with the restaurateurs will follow. Attendees will be treated to desserts and small bites brought by the speakers.

Admission is $15.

Out of the Question will continue later this summer with Architecture: Does Modernism Still Matter? on Thursday, August 10 and Business and Markets: Where's the Economy Heading? on Thursday, September 28.

Southampton Arts Center is located at 25 Jobs Lane in Southampton. For more information, call 631-283-0967 or visit southamptonartscenter.org.
