Nothing confirms that warmer weather is really on the way to rescue us from a cold, blustery winter like when seasonal Hamptons restaurants reopen. If you've been craving a lobster roll basically since your favorite spot closed fall, luckily for you many East End mainstays are making their 2017 debut soon.
Beloved seafood eatery Bostwick's Chowder House
(277 Pantigo Road, East Hampton) has opened for the 2017 season. Leading into the summer, Bostwick's will be open Thursday through Sunday, beginning at 11:30 a.m.
Duryea's (65 Tuthill Road, Montauk) has also opened for the season. The Lobster Deck - under the direction of executive chef Pierre Sudre and new chef de cuisine James Casey Darenberg, Fish Market and Farmer's Market will be open Thursday through Monday during the pre-season and will be open seven days a week after Memorial Day weekend.
The Clam Bar (2025 Montauk Highway, Amagansett) is open seven days a week - weather permitting.
Lulu Kitchen & Bar
(126 Main Street, Sag Harbor), the new woodburning cuisine centric eatery helmed by Phillippe Corbet
, will officially open on Thursday, April 27.
(16 Navy Road, Montauk) will reopen for the 2017 season on Friday, April 28 at 5 p.m. For opening weekend, the restaurant will be open for dinner Friday through Sunday and lunch on Saturday and Sunday.
The Lobster Roll
, A.K.A. Lunch, (1980 Montauk Highway, Amagansett) will reopen on Friday, May 5.
Get ready to "drop a t" at The Sloppy Tuna
(148 South Emerson Avenue, Montauk) starting Saturday, May 13.
